Dunes Gulf Course
The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club is abundantly surrounded by a breathtaking landscape. The club’s location is hidden in a secluded location far beyond the lavish natures of Sanibel Island. Visitors will be happy to know that Dunes is open to the public and its 18-hold champion golf course meets the needs of both new and experienced skill levels.
If tennis is your sport of choice, you’ll be thrilled to know that Dunes has 14 Har-Tru tennis courts fully equipped with PGA and USTA professionals to help you learn the techniques to improve your game.
Beachview Gulf & Tennis Club
The Sanibel Island golf course that’s most desired is Beachview Golf & Tennis Club. Yes, this club is also open to the public. Like Dunes, Beachview also has 18-hole and Par 71. Golfers of all levels are welcome to come play golf at Beachview.
The beauty of Beachview is what makes it so spectacular. It’s surrounded by the Sanibel River, nature, and lush wildlife. Beachview prides themselves on being a member of the Audubon International’s Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses, which work to preserve the beautiful landscape that surrounds the course.
Sanctuary Gulf Course
Sanctuary Golf Club is not open to the public. However, you don’t need to be a member of the neighborhood to join as you are only required to pay your dues to become a member. This member-owned community is a tropical oasis of golf course, tennis and fitness centers, and elegant club houses for dining and social activities.
Sanctuary is also an Audubon International’s Audubon Cooperative and works to preserve their surrounding wildlife, beaches, and lush, natural surroundings.
You can find great discounts for Dunes and Beachview during the month of October and during the week.
Visitor centers, with local papers, should have coupons for you to use at either one of the open Sanibel Island Golf Courses. Both golf courses are within close proximity to Sanibel Island beaches. However, during peak seasons rush hour traffic may make it difficult to get to the Dunes.
